Never Knew Anyone Read my Blogs

My friends Heather and Alexi read my blogs, but I never knew anyone else did. Now it seems that someone has read a post about an old friend who has romantic feelings for me and sent it to him. He is insulted, and I have removed the post. I'm sorry and from now on, I won't write about anyone I know or I will dramatically change the particulars so that it is not clear about who I am speaking.

I thought you were being a bit bold about posting names and particulars about folks. That is unfortunate that someone went out of their way to show someone something that they knew would be upsetting to them. Ouch.

I've gone back and cleaned up my posts. They are not as detailed and interesting, but this way is better.

I had to do the same when my landlord found (allegedly alerted about) a post about him, causing my recent move.

Oh, so that was part of the mix. I knew you weren't happy at your last place for other reasons too.

Now I'm beginning to wonder: Will a future employer deny me a job because of my posts about insulin reactions? Will someone be offended about the rejection I received from a craigslist prostitute? Not sure how clean I have to make the posts before they become just a rundown of what I had for breakfast. Do you know what I mean?

What I did was change my name on my blog and elsewhere so that if you search on my name it is not the first thing that pops up. (There may still be a corrupted page from my old blog that has spam squatters on it now.)

You can still find my blog if you are really looking, but if you don't have any idea it exists, it is unlikely you will find it. I hope...

About Me

Southern California, United States
Perhaps my friend Mark summed me up best when he called me "a mystical grammarian." I am quite a mix--otherworldly, ethereal and in touch with "the beyond," yet prone to being very precise and logical, when need be. Romantic in the big-canvas meaning of the word, I see the world as an adventure, as a love poem, as a realm of beauty and wonder.
