A Board Game Turns Things Around

I was having a very hard time of things, and then I was invited over to a friend's mother's house for Thanksgiving and we played a board game after dinner. What a difference that made! A simple board game with lots of laughs, and my outlook on life shifted. Amazing!

I am glad to hear it. I often play Scrabble. I spent a week with my sister in Portland, and she has a myriad of health issues. We spent most of the week watching movies, episodes of Frasier, and playing Scrabble. It makes things better for sure!

I'm so glad that a hearty round of Balderdash lifted your spirits! Even better that you won! We loved having you and my mother really loved your thank you card.

About Me

Southern California, United States
Perhaps my friend Mark summed me up best when he called me "a mystical grammarian." I am quite a mix--otherworldly, ethereal and in touch with "the beyond," yet prone to being very precise and logical, when need be. Romantic in the big-canvas meaning of the word, I see the world as an adventure, as a love poem, as a realm of beauty and wonder.
